our Classes
All of our classes are taught by people who have spent years perfecting their love of jewelry making. From beginner level to more advanced, we have fun and flexible classes to suit your needs. Feel free to also join in on our informal gatherings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Onda, where you can meet other “jewelry enthusiasts” before you decide to come to one of our classes. Relax in our comfortable chairs, get inspired by the artwork and jewelry on display and most of all, have fun!
Class Descriptions
LEARN THE ART OF BEADWEAVING – novice to advance. Learn the stitches of bead weaving Right Angle Weave, Peyote stitch, Brick stitch, Ndebele/Herringbone, Ladder stitch, Square stitch and combine different stitches to make beautiful, intricate bracelets, necklaces & earrings that are unique through the art of bead weaving. Classes vary, please check our calendar for times and dates. Instructions free with minimum purchase of $15.00 for class materials.
BASIC PEYOTE STITCH – Learn the quick & easy peyote stitch while creating beads to use in your necklace & earring creations. Cost is $10.00.
BASIC BRICK STITCH – Master the basics of brick nostitch and create a stunning pair of earrings using size 11 seed beads. The brick stitch is also used to create bails for necklaces. Cost is $10.00
CREATING WITH CLAY – Learn how to make beads, pendants and a variety of other creations using polymer clay. Cost is $15.00 All materials included.
